What We Collect

Clip by Pyckle collects only what is necessary to provide the service:

• Email address — used to authenticate you via magic link. Never shared or sold.
• Page content — when you clip a page, its URL, title, and article text are sent to our servers for storage and processing (summarisation, embedding for search).
• Highlights and notes — text you select and annotate is stored server-side and synced across your devices.
• Usage data — basic request logs (timestamps, endpoint paths) for debugging. No analytics or tracking.

What We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect browsing history beyond pages you explicitly clip.
• We do not run ads or share your data with advertisers.
• We do not sell your data to any third party.

Data Storage

Your clips and highlights are stored on servers hosted by Fly.io in the United States. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit.

Data Deletion

You can delete individual clips at any time from the extension. To delete your account and all associated data, email hello@pyckle.co.

Third-Party Services

• Resend — used solely to send magic link sign-in emails. Your email is not stored by Resend beyond delivery.
• Fly.io — infrastructure provider. Subject to their privacy policy.
